The emergency flood protection system, Tube Wall, can be installed simply by filling it with air. This eliminates the need for the filling and disposal of soil and sand that were required for traditional sandbag installation and removal, significantly reducing the personnel and time involved in the operation. Additionally, securing, disposing of, and managing the filling materials is no longer necessary. One team (two members) can install 60 meters in one hour. It allows for rapid deployment over a wide area and is lightweight, making it easy to move to the installation site. Installation and removal are completed simply by inflating (and deflating during removal), so no special tools or skills are required. It can be compactly stored by folding, eliminating the need for securing soil and space that was necessary for traditional sandbag storage.
